International Trade of China Livestock Products in 2013
By CnAgri2014-02-13 09:40:39 Print In 2013, international trade of China livestock products is characterized by substantial increase of meat imports, all recoding historical high except poultry meat, of which, beef imports increased 379%, mutton increased109% and even pork increased 12%, not influenced by gloomy domestic pork market and price decline. Poultry meat imports increased 12% as well though suffering from impacts of American chicken. Exports of beef, mutton and egg continued declining but pork and poultry meat increased. The decline rate of beef and mutton exports reached 52% and 36% respectively.From “China Livestock and Feed Market Weekly Report”
