New Imported Feed and Feed Additive Registration Management Method to be Implemented in July 1st

On Jan. 20th, MOA issued the second decree in 2014, announcing that the new Imported Feed and Feed Additive Registration Management Methods will be implemented in July 1st and the original one in 2004 will be abolished at the same time.

In the new methods, following aspects should be highlighted:
1. Foreign enterprises should entrust domestic agencies to apply import registration and should set up sales offices or commission sales office in China and report to MOA for recording within 6 months when receiving import registration certificate of feed and feed additive. 

2. Requirements for test evaluation are higher. For some products, enterprises should provide analyzing report of feed additive residue’s influence on human health and report of influences on the environment.
