For cutting areas without eligible design, approval and licenses are not allowed. Besides, the cutting volume involved will be deducted from the 70% timber production plan. In addition, the notice also made strict stipulations on cutting area design approval management, cutting supervision, timber transporting, sales and supervision, forest nurturing management and accountability of illegal cutting etc..

After the new policy is carried out, NE timber market is well expected. In short terms, wood product industry will be in shortage of resources. So relevant enterprises should develop countermeasures as soon as possible.
