Fertilizer Export in Dec. 2013

China’s urea exports registered 753,000 MT in Dec., a collapse of 54.6% on the year-on-year basis and of 23.7% MOM. Urea export price tumbled to $298/MT in Dec.,  down 20% YOY and the same MOM.

DAP export volume and price recorded 534,000 MT and $405.8/MT in Dec., up 67.2%  and down 26.5% respectively on the year-on-year basis and up 47.5% and up 2.5% respectively MOM. MAP export volume and price recorded 54,000 MT and $327.3/MT in Dec., down 24.4% and 29% respectively on the year-on-year basis and down 39% and 3.2% respectively MOM.

 As for low concentration fertilizer, exports of AS, ammonium chloride, ammonium nitrate, TSP, SSP and NP compound fertilizer registered 201,000MT, 29,000MT, 64,000MT, 79,000MT, 17,000MT and 2,792MT respectively, down 18.2%, down 46.4%, up 75.3%, down 55.2%, down 49.5% and down 90.1% respectively MOM.
