China exported 102,543 tons soybean meal in February, 2014

In February, China exported 102,543 tons soybean meal, increasing by 45.9% year on year. The accumulative export volume in January and February was 230,375 tons, decreasing by 6.4% year on year. In February, the FOB price of soybean export was 566 USD/ton, down by 3% from last month, down by 6% compared with that in the same period in last year.
By destinations, China’s soybean meal mainly is export to Japan, Korea and Vietnam, accounting for 64%, 24% and 5% of the total export volume respectively.
By exporting provinces, Jiangsu province has an absolute advantage, and its export volume of soybean meal was 46,016 tons, accounting for 45% of China’s total export volume. The following provinces are Shandong province, Hebei province and Liaoning province successively, and their export volumes occupy 22%, 12% and 11% of China’s total export volume respectively.
By exporting enterprise, there were 23 enterprises exporting soybean meal in China in February, and the export volume of top ten enterprises accounted for 96% of China’s total export volume. The top three exporting enterprises were East Ocean Oils & Grains Industries (Zhangjiagang) Co., Ltd., Yihai (Yantai) Oils & Grains Industries Co., Ltd. and Qinhuangdao Golden Sea Oils & Grains Industries Co., Ltd. successively.
