In 2017, China Imported 1.853 Million m³ of Douglas fir logs, down 1.04% YoY

From 2014 to 2017, China's Douglas fir logs import has the following characteristics:
A. China imported 2.3275 million cubic meters in 2014, 1.6073 million cubic meters in 2015, 1.8724 million cubic meters in 2016, 1.853 million cubic meters in 2017. The imports in 2017 was 1.04% less than that in 2016.
B. In 2017, 99.13% of Douglas fir logs came from three countries and their imports and proportion: the United States, 977,400 cubic meters, 52.75%; Canada, 480,200 cubic meters, 25.91%; New Zealand, 379,300 cubic meters, 20.47%.
C. The average annual price of Douglas fir logs was 171.87 US$/m³ in 2017, up 11.86% year on year.
