Compound Feed Prices Rose Slightly, Costs Mixed, and Gross Profits Changed Little

China Agriculture Report By CnAgri2018-12-06 15:55:46China Agriculture Report Print The prices of compound feed for fattening pigs averaged at RMB 3,000/MT, and the prices of compound feed for and broilers averaged at RMB 3,110/MT, both stable from last week. The prices of compound feed for layers increased RMB 10/MT to RMB 2,810/MT.
 
This week, corn prices ascended but soybean meal prices witnessed a relatively great decline. Feed costs for growing-finishing pigs, broilers and layers were didn’t change greatly. Feed costs for growing-finishing pigs, broilers and layers averaged at RMB 2,862/MT, 2,944/MT and 2,660/MT respectively, up RMB 7/MT, down RMB 1/MT and up RMB 2/MT from last week, respectively.
 
The gross margins of compound feeds for growing-finishing pig, broiler and layer were respectively RMB 138/MT, 166/MT and 140/MT, down RMB 7/MT, up RMB 1/MT and up RMB 8/MT from last week, and gross margin rates were 4.6%, 5.3% and 5.3%, down 0.2 percentage points, stable and up 0.3 percentage points from last week.
