China's Non-manufacturing PMI Increased in November

In November, non-manufacturing purchasing manager index was 55.6 percent, a slight increase of 0.1 percentage points over the previous month.

 

In view of different industries, non-manufacturing purchasing manager index of construction industry continued to stay above the threshold, achieved 61.3 percent, went up by 1.1 percentage points over the previous month, indicating that the producing growth of construction industry continued to speed upThat of services industry was 54.2 percent, down by 0.2 percentage points than that in the previous monthOf which, the indices of Internet, software and IT services industry, post industry, telecommunications, radio, television and satellite transmission services industry stayed at 60 percent and above, while the total enterprise business of ecological protection, environmental management and public facilities administration industry, air transport industry, road transport industry, and catering industry decreased over last month.

 

 

The new orders index went up. The new orders index was 53.2 percent, an increase of 1.6 percentage points over the previous month, which indicating that the market demand of non-manufacturing industry kept a growing trend, and the growth speeded up. In view of different industries, the new orders index of construction industry was 58.1 percent, up by 2.7 percentage points over the previous month, which indicating that the market demand growth rate of construction industry increased. The new orders index of service industry was 52.0 percent, 1.3 percentage points higher over the previous month, which indicating that the market demand of service industry continue to increase. Of which, the new orders indices of post industry, Internet, software and IT services industry, loading, unloading and warehousing industry, telecommunications, radio, television and satellite transmission services industry were above the threshold, while the new orders indices of ecological protection, environmental management and public facilities administration industry, air transport industry, road transport industry and catering industry were below the threshold, and the market demands dropped.

 

Intermediate input price index went down, reached 52.5 percent, down by 5.6 percentage points over last month, indicating that the intermediate input price of non-manufacturing enterprises continued to increase, but the amount of increase narrowed. In view of different industries, the intermediate input price index of construction industry was 52.9 percent, sharply dropped 8.6 percentage points over the previous month, which indicating that the rising amount of production and operation costs of construction enterprises have decreased obviously. That of service industry was 52.5 percent, up by 4.7 percentage points over the previous month, and the rising pressures of operation costs of enterprises have been relieved. Of which, the intermediate input price indices of ecological protection, environmental management and public facilities administration industry, railway transport industry, air transport industry, and wholesale trade industry were below the threshold. 

 

The subscription price index dropped below the threshold. This index was 48.4 percent, down by 2.1 percentage points over the previous month, and declined below the threshold after staying above the threshold for 3 consecutive months, which showing that the non-manufacturing subscription price decreased month-on-month. In view of different industries, the subscription price index of construction industry was 51.2 percent, an increase of 0.3 percentage points over the previous month. That of services industry was 47.8 percent, a decrease of 2.6 percentage points over the previous month. Of which, the subscription price indices of retail trade industry, real estate industry, water transport industry, loading, unloading and warehousing industry, post industry, and catering industry were above the threshold, that of air transport industry, wholesale trade industry, leasing and business service industry, telecommunications, radio, television and satellite transmission services industry were below the threshold.

 

Business activities expectation index climbed up from a high place. This index reached a 5-month high of 64.6 percent, up by 1.2 percentage points month-on-month, which indicating that the proportion of non-manufacturing enterprises maintaining optimistic about the operating expectation in the future increased. In view of different industries, the business activities expectation indices of retail trade industry, post industry, Internet, software and IT services industry, and house construction industry positioned in a high place which above 70 percent.
