Sinochem Argo to promote its “Sinochem Plants Hospital”

By CnAgri Print Recently Sinochem Argo affiliated to Sinochem Group announced its establishment of “Sinochem Plants Hospital” – a public service network designed to provide formers with advanced plants protection technology and service.

The “Sinochem Plants Hospital” started a trial operation with an agrotechnical center in Shouxian County of Anhui Province, where both parties plan to form an agrotechnical team to train farmers free of charge regarding applications of agro technology, identification of fake and inferior pesticides, rice disease and pest control.

The “Sinochem Plants Hospital” operates in two models – physical shop and online shop; physical shops include the cooperation with local plants protection facility and retailers in product and service promotions while the “Sinochem Plants Hospital Web” provides an online technical support.

At present some problems still exist in China which restrain the applications of crop protection technologies, such as the farmer’s lack of insect pest control knowledge, lack of awareness of safe application, non-standardized handling of application and inappropriate timing of application and method of application.

Sinochem Argo is a state-owned agro enterprise, which incorporates research, production and marketing activities; the establishment of the “Sinochem Plants Hospital” is just a new good example of its effort to continuously provide farmers with advanced crop protection technology and service.
