An outbreak of O-type FMD was reported in Yining county of Xinjiang

By CnAgri2018-12-07 11:26:32 Print The Information Office of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs said on November 27, 2018 that an outbreak of O-type FMD has been detected in a farm in Yining county of Xinjiang. Among 331 hogs of the farm, 108 pigs were affected and 46 heads were confirmed died.
After the outbreak of the disease, local authorities well treated the epidemic situation in accordance with pre-arranged plans and technical specifications for prevention and control.  285 pigs including affected pigs and pigs in the same farm were culled, and all these hogs have been disposed harmlessly.
