In the First Half of 2019, NPK Companies’ Operational Revenues and Profits Witnessed a Considerable Difference, and Kingenta Still Maintained its Leading Position

In August, listed compound fertilizer companies released their semiannual reports of 2019, of which Kingenta’s operating revenues descended obviously, but still maintained its leading position in the NPK industry. Operating revenues of Stanley, Xinyangfeng, Sierte and Shindoo all increased year on year, but, after the deduction of non-profits, gross profit rates witnessed different growths and declines. Specifically:
(1) Kingenta: operating revenues from January to June of 2019 were 7.777 billion RMB, of which operating revenues of common compound fertilizer recorded 3.475 billion RMB, down 29.81% year on year; operating revenues of control released compound fertilizer stood at 333 million RMB, down 92.02% year on year. But, the gross profit rate reached 24.11%, highest among five companies.
(2) Xinyangfeng: operating revenues from January to June of 2019 were 5.775 billion RMB, of which operating revenues of P-fertilizer and compound fertilizer stood at 5.449 billion RMB, up 11.05% year on year. Judging from main products, operating revenues of P-fertilizer were 1.085 billion RMB, and the gross profit rate was 21.52%, up 0.98% year on year; operating revenues of common compound fertilizer registered 3.278 billion RMB, and the gross profit rate was 11.84%, down 0.30% year on year; operating revenues of new-type compound fertilizer were 1.087 billion RMB, and the gross profit rate was 25.63%, up 0.55% year on year.
(3) Shindoo: operating revenues from January to June of 2019 were 4.31 billion RMB, of which operating revenues of fertilizer stood at 2.608 billion RMB, up 30.55% year on year. Judging from main products, operating revenues of compound fertilizer were 2.395 billion RMB, and the gross profit rate was 17.10%, down 1.58% year on year; operating revenues of MAP were 21,300 RMB, and the gross profit rate was 10.45%, down 2.49% year on year.
(4) Stanley: operating revenues from January to June of 2019 were 3.118 billion RMB, of which the revenues of fertilizer production were 2.879 billion RMB, up 4.34% year on year. Judging from main products, the proportion of operating revenues of S-based compound fertilizer, Cl-based compound fertilizer and new-type fertilizer was 23.81%, 51.04% and 17.48%, but, the gross profit rate all decreased to 15.88% 16.54% and 20.50%, down 2.76% 3.03% and 1.17%.
(5) Sierte: operating revenues from January to June of 2019 were 1.406 billion RMB, of which operating revenues of fertilizer stood at 1.341 billion RMB, up 11.17% year on year. Judging from main products, operating revenues of NPK were 790 million RMB, and the gross profit rate was 17.60%, down 4.84% year on year; operating revenues of MAP were 464 million RMB, and the gross profit rate was 19.66%, down 3.81% year on year.
