In August, the quotations of corn further processed products didn’t change greatly, and only the prices of some byproducts improved influenced by an increase in soybean meal prices. However, along with an increase in costs of corn of further processed companies, further processing companies such as corn starch and alcohol companies still fell into loss, and the profits witnessed different growths and declines, and the overall profits didn’t change greatly.  
 
In August, the operating rate of corn further processing industry rebounded slightly. Of which, the average operating rate of corn starch and alcohol processing industry was 59.4% and 57.2%, 1.4 percentage point and 1.9 percentage point higher than last month.
