Pig prices in March

The average price of hog was 35.93 yuan/kg nationwide, decreasing by 5.37% month on month and increasing by 157.36% year on year. Piglet prices were 89.37 yuan/kg, increasing by 12.57% month on month and increasing by 234.07% year on year. Wholesale prices were 50.12 yuan/kg, decreasing by 9.96% month on month and increasing by 163.67% year on year respectively.
The prices of compound feed for fattening pigs were 3.13 yuan/kg, increasing by 1.00% month on month respectively, increasing by 3.58% year on year respectively.
