10.76 million Tons New Sugar Produced, Sales 7.61 million Tons in 2018/19

China had produced 10.76 million tons sugar till the end of May in 2018/19, 454,100 tons more than the 10.31 million tons in last campaign. Of which cane sugar was 9.44 million tons, 288,400 tons more than the 9.16 million tons in same period last campaign; beet sugar processing winded up, recording 1.32 million tons, 165,700 tons more than the 1.15 million tons in same period last campaign.
 
7.61 million tons sugar had been sold during the campaign, 1.10 million tons more than the 6.51 million tons in same period last campaign. The sales ratio had been 70.75%, 7.64 percentage points higher than the 63.11% in same period last campaign. China had sold 6.53 million tons cane sugar till the end of June in 2018/19, 1.02 million tons more than the 5.51 million tons in last campaign. The sales ratio had been 69.15%, 8.96 percentage points more than the 60.19% in the same period last campaign. It had sold 1.08 million tons beet sugar till the end of June, 88,900 tons more than the 992,900 tons, the sales ratio had been 82.24%, 4.12 percentage point less than the 86.36% in the same period last campaign.
