l At the beginning of 2020, China had 26 particleboard production lines under construction, with a combined production capacity of 6.57 million cubic meters per year. These production lines will be put into operation from this year to next year, and the total production capacity of particleboard is expected to exceed 42 million cubic meters per year by the end of 2020.
l At the beginning of 2020, there were more than 1,800 manufacturers of plywood products under construction in China, with an aggregate production capacity of about 30 million cubic meters per year. The total production capacity of plywood products in China is estimated to approach 210 million cubic meters per year by the end of 2020.
l In 2019, about 26 fiberboard production lines were closed, dismantled or shut down nationwide, and backward production capacity about 1.05 million cubic meters were eliminated. By the end of 2019, a total of 663 fiberboard production lines had been closed, dismantled or shut down, and backward production capacity of 25.28 million cubic meters had been eliminated.
