Grain Purchase in China

Due to reduction of output in South, launch of minimum purchasing price and depreciation of USD, global wheat price was moving up, speeding up domestic wheat purchasing progress.

Regarding on new wheat purchasing, the total purchasing amount of all kinds grain enterprises in major production provinces was 20.3970Million MT, from which, 13.754 million MT was purchased by state-owned grain enterprises, amounting for 67.42% of the total.

Total purchasing volume from main production areas increased by 7.3060million MT compared with same period of last years, of which state owned enterprises increased by 5.4460 MT.
