Late movements of livestock enterprises in China

A lean-meat duck-breeding farm, invested with RMB100 million by Saifeiya Group of Inner Mongolia and Beijing Vet Research Institute, has been recently put under construction in Kharchin County, Inner Mongolia. The project, designed with an annual capacity of 200,000 grandparent generation ducks and 12 million parent generation ducks, is scheduled to be completed in 2018.
Harbin Yanda Livestock Co., Ltd. has recently set up a broiler slaughterhouse capable of 24 million birds a year.
Qinghai Northwest Natural Nutrition Food Co., Ltd. has recently set up in Xining City, Qinghai, a factory capable of 20,000 MT dried yak beef a year, the largest of its kind in China.
