Pork: On July 18, 2012, in the pork wholesale markets of the 36 medium-and-large sized cities, the average price of fresh boning-out leg meat and lean pork (not tenderloin) is RMB19.79Yuan/KG, down 0.17% compared with last week. For this week, the price of live hog is RMB13.91Yuan/KG, down 0.21% compared with last week. It is predicted that pork price shall decrease slightly in the short term.

Beef: On July 18, 2012, in the beef wholesale markets of the 36 medium-and-large sized cities, the average price of fresh boning-out leg meat is RMB38.22Yuan/KG, up 0.32% compared with last week. It’s expected the beef price shall run stable in short term.

Mutton: On July 18, 2012, in the mutton wholesale markets of the 36 medium-and-large sized cities, the average price of bone-in fresh mutton is RMB46.09Yuan/KG, down 1.04% compared with last week. It is expected the price shall rise slightly in a short term.

Broiler：On July 18, 2012, in the major broiler wholesale markets of the 36 medium-and-large sized cities, the average price of fresh chicken meat is RMB13.64Yuan/KG, down 0.15% compared with last week. The purchasing price from farms of broiler chicken was RMB8.26/KG this week, up 0.24% compared with last week, the chick price was RMB0.88 each, up 4.76% compared with last week. It is expected chicken price will run stable in the short term.

This week the average wholesale price of live broilers is RMB14.08Yuan/KG in main producing regions, up 17.81% compared with last week. It is expected live broiler price shall run stable nearby.

Egg: On July 18, 2012, at the major egg wholesale markets of the 36 medium-and-large sized cities, the average price of fresh eggs is RMB7.82Yuan/KG, down 0.86% compared with last week. Egg purchase price from farms was RMB6.69/KG this week. It is expected egg price shall run stable nearby.
