Sulfur Imports and Phosphorite Exports in June in China

China’s sulfur imports registered 697,000 MT in June and 6.012 million MT in January ~ June, up 7.4% and 30.8% respectively on the year-on-year basis. Sulfur import price was $204/MT (CIF) in June.

Phosphorite exports were 19,000 MT in June and 199,000 MT in January ~ June, down 49.4% and 44.3% respectively on the year-on-year basis. Phosphorite export price was $202/MT (FOB) in June, up 30.9% on the year-on-year basis.
