Fertilizer Production Going up in November

China Agriculture Report By CnAgri2012-12-17 10:53:03China Agriculture Report Print China’s fertilizer production registered 5.507 million MT (nutrient, same below) in November, down 8% from the month before but up 9.6% on the year-on-year basis.
 
Nitrogen production was 3.763 million MT in November, down 7.2% from the month before but up 8.7% on the year-on-year basis. Urea production went up 10.8% in November on the year-on-year basis, equal to daily production of 180,000 MT (product).
 
Phosphorus production was 1.447 million MT in November, up 10.4% on the year-on-year basis. DAP and MAP registered 540,000 MT and 420,000 MT respectively in November, up 6.3% and 13.9% respectively on the year-on-year basis.
 
Potassium production was 279,000 MT in November, down 35.3% from the month before but up 17% on the year-on-year basis.
 
Fertilizer production totaled 66.15 million MT in January ~ November, including 44.79 million MT nitrogen, 16.87 million MT phosphorus and 4.49 million MT potassium, up 9.3%, 8.9%, 10.3% and 9.5% respectively on the year-on-year basis. Nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium accounted for 67.7%, 25.5% and 6.8% of the total respectively.
 
Urea production totaled 60.29 million MT (product) in January ~ November, up 9.6% on the year-on-year basis. DAP and MAP productions registered 5.66 million MT and 5.12 million MT respectively in January ~ November, up 9.7% and 15.1% respectively on the year-on-year basis.
