Price of Vegetables in September 2013

In Sep., the average price of Chinese cabbage, celery, spinach and cole was 3.38 yuan, down 5.80% MOM, up 11.96% YOY. The price of four vegetables was 1.59, 3.26, 5.76 and 2.92 yuan/kg respectively. The price of Chinese cabbage was down 2.31% MOM, the price of celery was up 1.76% MOM, the price of spinach was down 9.66% MOM, the price of cole was down 7.46% MOM. The price of Chinese cabbage was up 6.40% YOY, the price of celery was up 17.35% YOY, the price of spinach was up 22.41% YOY, the price of cole was up 27.63% YOY.
 
The average price of tomato, strings bean, cucumber, eggplant and pepper was 3.48 yuan/kg, up 22.51% MOM, and up 27.13% YOY. The price of the five vegetables was 3.22, 4.66, 3.14, 2.63 and 2.74 yuan/kg respectively. The price of tomato was up 35.03% MOM, the price of strings bean was up 18.89% MOM, the price of cucumber was up 25.83% MOM, the price of eggplant was up 13.85% MOM, the price of pepper was up 21.23% MOM. The price of tomato was down 5.60% YOY, the price of strings bean was up 26.54% YOY, the price of cucumber was up 56.60% YOY, the price of eggplant was up 18.88%YOY, the price of pepper was up 57.84% YOY.
