Drought In China Caused International Grain Price Index Up

China Agriculture Report By CnAgri2013-08-23 15:07:36China Agriculture Report Print On Aug 14th, international grain price index increased mainly influenced by possible increase of imports caused by drought in China. According to BOABC, however, total grain yields shall increase in China, for rainfall in NC is on the high side and rainy season is coming in SC. Yields reduction of autumn grains will be less than expected. Comprehensive grain price index declined and agricultural products price index increased influenced by unfavorable weather condition.
