Urea Price to Keep Down in Later Period
By CnAgri2013-12-31 09:44:41 Print Urea: domestic urea price remained generally stable with decline in some areas this week. Quotation in Shandong went steady after previous decline. Though supported by purchase of NPK enterprises, urea manufacturer still had pressure of delivering; In Hebei, urea manufacturers stopped production for maintenance and demand from both agriculture and industry was flat;in Henan, urea market showed consolidation with flat market turnovers and some manufacturers still executed previous minimum-guarantee orders; lack of gas, operating rate of urea enterprises was generally low. Though production declined, the price was still poorly supported by the weak demand; with few arrivals, urea wholesale price continued being stable in Guangdong. With finish of previous orders and few new orders, urea market is predicted to go down with fluctuation later. (Figure 1)From “China Fertilizer Market Weekly Report”
