As for supply, influenced by low rapeseed planting margin, in 2015/16 China’s rapeseed sown area declines, besides the output is predicted to be 7.9 million tons, down by 18% YOY. The total rapeseed supply volume is estimated to 12.67 million tons, down by 14% YOY.
 
As for demands, this year rapeseed consumption volume is estimated to 12.18 million tons, down by 14% compared with last year. Among that crushing oil volume is 11.8 million tons, down by 14% YOY.
 
In 2014/15 rapeseed end inventory is 493,000 tons, down by 14% YOY. China’s rapeseed supply is tense.
