According to the National Bureau of statistics data, in 2014 large scale feed enterprises produced 193 million tons feed, down by 2.59% YOY. Since 2010 their output saw obvious upward trend. Based on BOABC’s survey data in 2014, our live hog breeding scale was basically the same as national statistics data, furthermore beef total breeding volume was about 15% - 20% lower than official data. However in 2014 live hog capacity elimination speed was faster, but feed consumption declined slightly. BOABC thinks that in 2014 fed output volume was about 182 million tons.
