Influenced by output falling down of global sunflower seed in 2014/2015, its supply and demand narrowed; while sunflower seed yield in China still kept rising, resulting in large export. Thus in Jan. – Feb. 2015 China exported sunflower seed 54,000 tons, up by 76% from last year.
 
As for countries, the main export destinations were Iran, Vietnam, Egypt, Iraq, Indonesia, Burma, United Arab Emirates, Thailand, Turkey, Spain, Germany, and America, and the above countries responsible for more than 90% of the total volume.
 
As for provinces, Inner Mongolia, Tianjin, Yunnan, Heilongjiang, Shandong, Jilin and Xinjiang totally exported over 95%.
