EU notifies WTO of biocides approvals

By CnAgri Print The European Commission has notified the World Trade Organization’s Committee on Technical Barriers to Trade of its intention to approve a range of existing active substances for use in certain biocidal products.

The active substances are: benzoic acid, aluminium phosphide, etofenprox, nonanoic acid, bromoacetic acid, IPBC, copper sulfate pentahydrate, and tebuconazole.

The proposed date of adoption of draft Commission Implementing Regulations for the substances is September 2013.
