China imported 5.97 million tons soybeans in May
By CnAgri2014-06-16 10:00:41 Print According to data from Chinese Customs, China imported 5.97 million tons soybeans in May, down 8.15% from April and up 17.12% year on year. China imported 27.814 million tons soybeans in Jan.-May, 2014, up 35.04% year on year.In May, corn import price averaged USD607.3/MT, up USD1.8/MT from April and up USD17.9/MT from the same period last year, highest level so far in 2014.
According to shipping terms, soybean arrival in ports is predicted to register 6.35 million tons in June 2014, higher than the level of 5.97 million tons in May 2014 but lower than the level of 6.93 million tons in June 2013.
