In May, the pulp market kept weak and the total price index and total volume index of pulp both decreased, it is the third decline for total price index, and the fifth decline for total volume decline. Influenced by domestic economic the pulp market was positive and the whole development was weak.
 

As for different species index, floating coniferous wood pulp index was 102.33, down 0.16% MOM; floating broadleaf pulp price index was 89.83, down 0.06% MOM; unbleach pulp was 98.86, down 0.3% MOM. The total volume index of pulp was 69.37, down 1.18% MOM. Volume index fell below 70 after 17 months, and the market transaction was weak, among that the volume index of floating coniferous wood pulp, floating broadleaf pulp and unbleach pulp were respectively 75.8, 71.7, and 48.26, down 6.44% MOM, up 7.11% MOM and 2.51% MOM respectively. In May the pulp price was stable and the pulp volume declined again.
