By 25 July, the state auctioned 13.3919 million tons of grains; the transaction volume and transaction rate were respectively 6.5413 million tons, and 48.85%. Among that rice was 4.2197 million tons the transaction was 420,900 tons, and the average transaction price was 2,756 Yuan/ton; recently the state grain inventory was sufficient, leading to the continuing increase of cost, and hindered the healthy development of the economy. NE japonica rice was 3.0157 million tons with transaction 20,600 tons the transaction rate was 0.68% and the average transaction price was 3022 Yuan/ ton. By now the total transaction volume of NE japonica was 557,700 tons. Early indica rice was no transaction. The mid – late rice was 1.1040 tons, the transaction was 358300 tons, the transaction rate was 32.45%, and the average transaction price was 2705 Yuan/ ton; SC japonica was 100,000 tons, the transaction volume was 42,000 tons, the transaction rate was 42.02% and the average transaction price was 3056 Yuan/ton. The total transaction in this quarter was 263,700 tons.
