Raw Milk Quality in China Up to International Advanced Level

An expert from MOA Milk and Dairy Quality Supervision and Testing Center points out that the quality of raw milk in China is already up to the international advanced level.  
(1) The sanitary index of raw milk is up to the international advanced level. The average plate count of raw milk in 2018 was 295,000 CFU per ml, the average somatic cells are 330,400, both the plate count and somatic cells levels are up to the level of developed countries.
(2) The nutritious quality of raw milk rose steadily. The random sampling tests in 2018 found the average value of milk fat in raw milk is 3.84g/100g and average value of milk protein 3.25g/100g, both up to the national standard.
