Dairy Production Stood at 22.4 Million Tons in First 10 Months, up 8.3% YoY

In October, dairy production totaled 2.27 million tons, up 6.9% YoY, of which liquid dairy products 2.13 million tons, up 7.7% YoY; milk powder 80.8 thousand tons, down 3.9% YoY.
Dairy production totaled 22.42 million tons in first 10 months of 2019, up 8.3% YoY. Among the total production, production of liquid dairy products was 20.92 million tons, up 8.7% YoY. And production of milk powder was 856  thousand tons, up 2.5% YoY.
Hebei, Inner Mongolia and Shandong are the top three dairy products producing regions in China, with a total output of 7.35 million tons in first 10 months of 2019, accounting for one third of the total output.
