l On April 29, Guangxi Jingui Pulp & Paper Co., Ltd. signed a bank consortium loan contract for its 1.8 million ton high-grade paperboard expansion project with relevant branches of Export-Import Bank, Industrial and Commercial Bank, CITIC Bank, China Everbright Bank and Rural Credit Cooperatives in Nanning. The bank consortium will provide 4.62 billion yuan of loan support for the project. The total investment of the project is about 8.78 billion yuan. The project is composed of 2 sets of ivory board product lines and supporting facilities such as water supply treatment station and sewage treatment station. The construction period is expected to be 2 years. 
l On May 8, the government of Qianwei County, Sichuan Province signed a contract with Taison Group on the paper products project. With a total investment of 17 billion yuan, the project will be implemented in stages according to the land supply sequence, and will be completed and put into operation within 5 years. 
l On May 9, the Central China International Wood Industry Park in Ruichang City successfully passed the assessment of provincial experts who agreed to recommend it to apply for the national forestry industry demonstration park. There are 104 wood processing and furniture enterprises in the park, including a national key forestry leading enterprise, 4 provincial forestry leading enterprises and 30 enterprises above designated size. The output value in 2019 reached 4.082 billion yuan, and the timber imports in 2019 was 1.8 million cubic meters. 
l On May 16, seven wood and related industrial projects in Lanshan District, Linyi City, Shandong Province started construction, including the 100,000 set-capacity integral kitchen, whole house customization and laboratory furniture project of OUPU, the demonstration project of new template system production of Xingang Group, the 80,000 cubic meter-capacity high-end furniture board and 70,000 cubic meter-capacity wooden door accessory material project of Jinxu Wood, the 100,000 set-capacity high-end finished furniture project of Linyi Hongjun Furniture, the 30,000 cubic meter-capacity plywood project of Liantuo Wood, the 30,000 cubic meter-capacity plywood project of Fuliang Board Factory, etc.
