Dakang Muye’s Rapid Expansion in China

Since it was listed in the stock market in 2010, the company has sped up its business expansion in hog production.

The company purchased 100% shares of Xinkang Livestock Co., Ltd., a pig-breeding farm in Hunan, with RMB21.76 million. The company acquired Ping’an pig-breeding farm located in Hunan. The company purchased Shengwangda pig-breeding farm, locate in Hunan, with RMB24.8 million. The company purchased Xueshan Food Co., Ltd., a slaughterhouse in Hunan, with RMB24 million. The company purchased fourteen hog farms with RMB41.1 million. The company purchased Huiyi Food Co., Ltd., a hog enterprise located in Hunan, with RMB500 million. The company purchased Yamaolong Hog Production Zone with RMB12.96 million.

Dakang invested RMB63.25 million to establish cooperation with 397 hog-growing farming households with an aim of 200,000 heads of hog production a year.

The company invested RMB50 million to set up a meatpacking factory with a cold-storing capacity of 30,000 MT pork.

In July this year, the company poured RMB29 million investment into Fuhua Co., Ltd., an ecological agricultural company.

BOABC notices that Dakang’s rapid expansion has created a capital shortage. On August 4, the company issued RMB330 million five-year bonds to supplement its working fund.
