Rapeseed Supply Expected to Increase in 2013

By CnAgri2013-01-09 13:30:59 Print According to the Ministry of Agriculture, fall-planted rapeseed acreage in 2012 was estimated to increase 120,000 hectares in China over the previous year and rapeseed production may increase 9,250 MT in 2013/2014.
 
China’s annual rapeseed crushing capacity has exceeded 40 million MT. China’s rapeseed imports may exceed 3.2 million MT in 2013/2014.
 
On the whole, China’s rapeseed supply is predicted to be 12.978 million MT in 2013/2014, an increase of 3% on the year-on-year basis.
