Fertilizer Price Saw Overal Decrease This Week

By CnAgri2013-02-01 11:22:24 Print UREA:  Urea retail price saw decrease this week influenced by Spring Festival effect and hazy weather, not conducive to road transportation. The average wholesale price was RMB2227/MT, down RMB10-20/MT compared with last week and up slightly compared with last year. (Figure 1)
 
ABC: ABC retail price fell down below RMB700Yuan/MT with less transaction, with the decline rate of 8% compared with last year. (Figure 2)
 
DAP: This week settlement price to dealers by DAP manufacturers is basically set, generally higher than previous price. DAP retail price keeps at RMB3500/MT and has space for further increase. (Figure 3)
 
NPK: NPK price went steady this week with well-proceeded orders for winter storage but new orders were few. As orders in manufacturers will not be finished until late February, pressure for price dropping is not great for manufacturers. (Figure 4)
 
MOP: With price decrease in border trades and Qinghai, all market parties are waiting and seeing and both quantity and price dropped. MOP retail price fell down to below RMB2850/MT, down RMB50/MT compared with last week. (Figure 5)
 
SOP: SOP price continued stabilizing at a low level with an average retail price of RMB3100/MT, down over 10% compared with last year.  (Figure 6)
