Fertilizer Shipment Cost Goes Up

China Agriculture Report By CnAgri2013-03-04 10:38:57China Agriculture Report Print From February 20 on, the Ministry of Railway raised fertilizer shipment rate from RMB0.0826/MT/km to RMB0.0976/MT/km. This may cause ammonium phosphate shipment cost to go up RMB15/MT per 1,000 km. Fertilizer producers are also faced with higher cost of coal and ore shipment.
 
On February 25, the State Development Commission raised gasoline and diesel oil price by RMB300/MT and RMB290/MT respectively, which is expected to add to the cost of fertilizer shipment by road.
