Fertilizer Production in January ~ April

By CnAgri2013-06-08 14:59:39 Print China’s fertilizer production registered 24.936 million MT (nutrient, same below) in January ~ April, including 17.456 million MT nitrogen, 6.163 million MT phosphorus and 1.314 million MT potassium, up 17.2%, 13.69%, 24.57% and 34.73% respectively on the year-on-year basis.
 
Urea production was 10.534 million MT in January ~ April, an increase of 11.83% on the year-on-year basis. Despite sluggish urea market, producers ran at high capacity. Thanks to raw material price decline and new complexes’ advanced technology, urea producers could enjoy a profit of RMB100 ~ 150/MT.
