Early Paddy Production in 2013

By CnAgri2013-09-13 11:28:25 Print China’s planted early paddy acreage, early paddy yield and early paddy production are estimated to be 5.791 million hectares, 5,882 kg/hectare and 34.073 million MT respectively this year, up 0.5%, 1.9% and 2.4% respectively over last year.
 
Semilate paddy yield is predicted to drop because of drought in the early stage of growth. Japonica milking is delayed by low temperature in the Northeast. Late paddy was affected by drought in the early stage of growth and may be affected by low temperature in the late stage of growth.
