Prices of Raw Milk & Feed in September
By CnAgri2013-10-08 13:49:00 PrintRaw Milk: according to the designated monitoring of the General Services of Animal Husbandry of the Ministry of Agriculture, the raw milk price in the ten main farming provinces kept at a high level during the first three weeks of September, 2013. The average was 3.68 yuan/kg, up slightly from last month or up 12.31% year on year. During the first three weeks of September, the price hike of raw milk was faster than that of feed price and the dairy cattle farming profit continued to improve.
Feed: during the first three weeks of September 2013, the national average spot price for corn was steady and soymeal price rose. The average corn price was 2.49 yuan/kg, soymeal 4.38 yuan/kg, up 3.87% from the previous month or down 3.0% year on year.
