Milk Powder Exports in the First Eight Months of 2013 down 62.99% YOY
By CnAgri2013-10-09 11:14:01 PrintBased on customs data, China exported 2,614 tons milk powder during the first eight months of 2013, down 62.99% year on year, the average export price was 4,830 US dollars/ton, up 19.96% year on year. In August, the export of skim powder was 206 tons, full-cream light powder 52 tons and full-cream sweet powder 115 tons, their respective export price was 3250, 2518 and 6255 US dollars/ton.
During the first eight months of 2013, milk powder export was mainly to Hong Kong, Myanmar and Nigeria, accounting for, respectively, 45.4%, 23.1% and 12.4% of the total respectively, and these three places made up 80.9% of the total milk powder export from China.
