Fertilizer Industry Remains Gloomy

By CnAgri2013-12-10 11:21:29 Print In Jan.-Sept. 2013, sales value and profit of fertilizer industry totaled 627.15 billion yuan and 21.75 billion yuan respectively, up 7.85% but down 32.46% respectively on the year-on-year basis. Industry profit still ran at a low level. In Jan.-Sept. 2013, sales value of all fertilizer varieties kept increasing except potassium fertilizer but profit kept slumping. This month, the percentage of fertilizer businesses suffered loss was 17.64% and of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium was 42.6%, 22.9% and 29.3% respectively.
