DAP Price Increased Driven by Sulfur Price

DAP: DAP price remained basically stable this week and saw increase in some areas influenced by rapid growth of sulfur price. DAP demand was mainly from winter storage in NE and NW and basic market was not active in purchasing. Finance Ministry has made it clear that fertilizer export tariff will be declined appropriately next year, which will to some extent support DAP price. With sulfur price increase, most manufacturers focused only on executing previous orders and stopped signing new orders. Though sulfur price increase backed DAP price, it was not accepted by downstream. In the long run, DAP price shall increase steadily. (Figure 3)
