Vitamin Market Analysis: Strong VA and Weak VE

Vitamin: On Feb. 19th 2014, the average wholesale price of Vitamin A at major production areas is RMB129,600Yuan/MT, up 1.25% compared with last week. Domestic major manufacturers started maintenance, tightening market supply. Plus VA price rose in European market, domestic market was boosted. It is predicted domestic VA market shall keep strong in a short period. (Table 9)

On Feb. 19th 2014, the average wholesale price of Vitamin E at major production areas is RMB86,700Yuan/MT, down 2.03% compared with last week. With pork price decline and influences of avian flu, domestic breeding industry began losing, which brought down feed consumption and weakened demand for VE. Domestic VE market is predicted to remain weak in recent. (Table 10)
