Huishan Sets up Another Dairy Chain in Liaoning with 8.8 Billion Yuan

Not long ago Kangping County and Huishan Dairy signed an agreement. Huishan shall invest 8.8 billion yuan for setting up a dairy industrial chain project in Kangping. The project shall cover elite-breed dairy cattle breeding, infant/young child’s formula milk powder and high-efficiency crop growing. To be specific, there shall be establishment of 40 standardized dairy farms, one infant/young child’s formula milk powder plant for annual production of 60,000 tons, one feed mill for annual production of 200,000 tons, 20 biogas concentration plants and high-efficiency crop growing on 240,000 mu of land. Kicking off of construction of the project shall be in March 2014 and completion shall be in October 2016. When in full-capacity operation, the annual sales revenue shall be 5 billion yuan, tax 600 million yuan and employment opportunities 5,000.From “China Dairy Market Monthly Report”
