In the First Quarter of 2014 the Fertilizer Production Declined Year on Year
By CnAgri2014-05-16 10:21:46 Print In Jan.-Mar. 2014, China's total production was 16.371 million tons (the pure production, the follows are same), down over 10%. From the different provinces, Production in the top five provinces respectively was Hubei, Shandong, Henan, Sichuan, and Shanxi, production respectively was 1.174 million tons, 498000 tons, 498000 tons, 459000 tons, 459000 tons, among that Shandong and Sichuan fell by 8.5%, 9.0% respectively year on year. In Jan.-Mar., the total production was 11.706 million tons, down 8.7%, among nitrogen fertilizer the production of urea and phosphate fertilizer respectively were 6.32 million tons and 3.841 million tons, up 3.2% and down 4.3% respectively year on year. Among that, the production (quantity of goods produced) of DAP and MAP respectively were 1.522 million tons and 1.7 million tons, up 19.7% and 113.4% respectively year on year. As for potash fertilizer, the total production was 822000 tons in Jan.-Mar, down 4.3% year on year.
