By CnAgri2017-03-21 10:16:00 PrintIn the week of March 6 to March 10, urea ex-factory price averaged at RMB 1,660/MT, RMB 4/MT less than last week. Of which, urea ex-factory price fluctuated at 1,530-1,610 RMB/MT in north China; 1,620-1,710 RMB/MT in east China; 1,590-1,660 RMB/MT in central China; 1,750-1,900 RMB/MT in south China.
Urea companies in Shanxi had a profit of 7 RMB/MT on average, RMB 23/MT less than last week.
This week, urea market was on a weak run and the prices lowered slightly. In terms of supply, influenced by environmental protection and the National People's Congress and the Chinese Political Consultative Conference, the operating rate in north China decreased and other areas were not influenced; owing to a weak demand for urea from downstream agriculture and plywood companies, urea prices dropped slightly. Urea prices would stabilize in the short term, with some slight declines.
