2.2 Domestic Soybean Output May Increase to 14 Million Tons in 2017/2018

China Agriculture Report By CnAgri2017-09-11 11:39:53China Agriculture Report Print Currently the soybeans were podding in Northeast and the producing regions saw certain precipitation, soil moisture was suitable, favorable for soybean production.
 
Due to the policy of reducing corn acreage and encouraging soybean planting, as well as the level of awareness about non-GMO soybeans has improved, soybean acreage have witnessed an obvious recovery increase this year. According to national statistics and research estimates, soybean acreage in 2017 continued to increase by 40 hectares, the total acreage was around 7.6 million hectares. If the national average yield can reach 1,850 kg/ha, the total output is expected to reach 14 million tons.
