The Fertilizer Production Continuing Declined Year on Year

The cumulative nitrogen total production was 16.115MT, down 7.7% YOY, among nitrogen fertilizer the production of urea and phosphate fertilizer respectively were 5.871million tons and 5.354 million tons, down 6.6% and 13.1% respectively year on year. Among that, the production (quantity of goods produced) of DAP and MAP respectively were 1.264 million tons and 1.443 million tons, down 0.3% and 2.1% respectively year on year. As for potash fertilizer, the total production was 1.265MT in Jan.-April, down 3.7% year on year. From the statistics, all varieties of fertilizer decreased in different degree. China’s fertilizer production capacity continue increase, while the output saw a decline trend, the main reason was the continuing decrease of fertilizer price, and the enterprise profit continuing decline, the market keep week, a lot of the manufactures decrease their loss through reducing the utilization capacity.
