Profit Monitoring on Livestock Breeding Industry Chain


During the past week, ratio between hog price and feed price was 4.90 and ratio between hog price and corn price was 3.71. The profit detail was as following: With reference to breeding, gross profit of hogs from self-raising-piglet and hogs from others-raising-piglet was RMB-123.53 Yuan/Head, and RMB-214.72Yuan/Head respectively, and up 14.98%, 14.02% respectively, With reference to slaughter, gross profit of slaughtering enterprises, the ones on slaughtering bought hogs but not as agents, was RMB255.04 Yuan/Head, down 8.95% compared with last week, With reference to pork wholesale, the gross profit was RMB77.77/Head, up 1.00% compared with last week. With reference to pork retail, the gross profit was about RMB232.54Yuan/ Head, down 0.66%, compared with last week.
